The Guardian LOLs at Bush in Beijing
August 14, 2008 Thursday, 04:07 PM
The British paper offers a lighter take on politics and sports at the Games. On the Net The Guardian, that venerable newspaper of British origin, has come up with a cracker.
The Guardian gives Bush the LOLcat treatment. It has culled nine photos of the US President's antics at the Beijing Games over the past week and given him the LOLcat treatment. That is, Photoshopping misspelt, ungrammatical, irreverently funny captions on humorous photos, an Internet meme that is extremely popular with Netizens. Enjoy! Tags: bush, olympics2008

Glas you enjoyed it, Joseph. And thanks for being one of our regular readers :)
Thanks for this blog. I really like it as its light! I hope that the blogs here can go away with the "commentary" style and do more of such lighter touch? Perhaps the reporters can share their views about the news but in a concise and personal way? We want to know the reporters and editors! =) Thanks and well done (ps: I hope I don't have misspelt, grammatic errors! haha) [josephlpw@gmail.com]
