IN THE blue corner, Robinho and in the red, Cristiano Ronaldo. The Manchester City-Manchester United encounter in a few hours time is something not to be missed even if you are just a wushu fan.

Manchester City have a billiant talent in Robinho who they paid $87.2 million for and competing with him for the limelight will be Ronaldo who will be able to match the Brazilian blow for blow up front.

It is frightening to think what would happen if these two talents end up on the same side. Sulaiman Al-Fahim, the businessman behind the takeover of Manchester City, is supposedly prepared to make a £135 million (S$350.3 million) bid for Ronaldo during the January transfer window.

Robinho has eight goals in 11 league appearances for City. Ronaldo is the most exciting player in world football. He never fails to put on a show, one way or another.

If you are a betting man, take a break today. Your heart is going to be in your mouth much of the time tonight. Why add fretting over your money to it.
